Wilkes Basketball Plays Host to FDU-Florham Friday
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's and women's basketball teams will host Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Campus as Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play continues Friday evening at the Marts Center.
The women's game will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. with the men to follow at 8:00 p.m. Live links are provided below for both games:

The Wilkes women's side enters with a 5-10 overall record and 1-4 in the MAC Freedom after a 73-59 loss at King's on Wednesday.
Gab Giordano (Moscow, PA/Holy Cross) leads the Colonels this season with 11.3 points-per-game (ppg), 9.4 rebounds-per-game (rpg) and 3.1 assists-per-game (apg). Those numbers rank 18
th, 3
rd and 5
th in the conference.
Maddie Kelley (Dallas, PA/Dallas) with 9.5 ppg and
Ashley Caster (York, PA/Spring Grove) with 9.0 ppg rank second and third for the Colonels in scoring. Caster's .514 field-goal percentage ranks second in the MAC Freedom.
Gianna Roberts (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke) is averaging 11.3 points and 7.3 rebounds over the past three games. Wilkes has also started to shoot the three ball better over the past three games as the Colonels have connected 27 times from long distance over that span.
Wilkes is averaging 67.5 ppg which is good for fifth in the MAC Freedom this season while allowing 75.9 ppg which is eighth.
The FDU-Florham women come into the contest at 6-10 overall and with an identical 1-4 mark as the Colonels in the conference. The Devils dropped a 72-68 decision at home to Delaware Valley on Wednesday.
Kayla Croswell leads FDU and ranks third in the MAC Freedom with 17.1 ppg and comes in at 7
th with 7.7 rpg. Cayla Staggers ranks 13
th with 13.3 ppg. Raven Dowling ranks second in the conference with 4.2 apg and 3.4 steals-per-game.
The Devils rank seventh in the conference with 63.9 ppg and are giving up 66.4 ppg which is fifth.
The Wilkes men's team come into the game with an 11-5 overall record and are in a three-way tie for second in the MAC Freedom with a 3-2 record after dropping a road contest at King's 81-53 on Wednesday.
Four players rank inside the top 10 in conference scoring and in double figures for the Colonels.
Rob Pecorelli's (Huntington, NY/Harborfields) 16.5 ppg ranks fifth while
Marcus Robinson (Swedesboro, NJ/Kingsway Regional) averages 15.7,
Mark Mullins (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) 15.6 and
Tommy Bowen (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) 14.1. Bowen's 7.4 rpg leads Wilkes and ranks fifth in the conference while Mullins ranks eighth with 7.1 rpg. Robinson tops the conference with 47 made three-point field goals and is second with 4.3 apg.
Jack Bova (Camillus, NY/West Genesee) has connected on 7-of-10 threes over the past two games to average 10.5 ppg over that stretch.
Wilkes scores 80.0 ppg to rank third in the conference while allowing 75.7 ppg to rank sixth.
FDU-Florham is 4-12 overall and 1-4 in the conference this season. Last time out the Deviles lost 84-76 to Delaware Valley at home on Wednesday and they are in the midst of a four-game losing streak.
Anthony Mitchell is the Devils leading scorer with 12.5 ppg. Andy Fleurantin (11.8) and Darren Davy (10.6) also average in double figures for scoring. Rajaan Dixon is the leading rebounder for FDU with 7.6 rpg to rank in a tie with Bowen for fifth in the conference. Shawn Smith's 3.5 apg rank third in the MAC Freedom.
The Devils are last in scoring average with 67.2 ppg but lead the conference in scoring defense allowing just 71.0 ppg.
