Wilkes Men's Ice Hockey Up to No. 9 in Latest USCHO Division III Poll
WILKES-BARRE – Coming off a 1-1 week, the Wilkes University men's ice hockey team has moved up two spots to No. 9 in the latest U.S. College Hockey Online (USCHO) Division III Men's Poll, announced by the organization on Monday.
The Colonels moved to 9-1-0 on the 2021-22 season after defeating Nazareth College 7-0 on Thursday at the Toyota SportsPlex before suffering their first defeat of the year at No. 3 Utica College 3-2 on Friday night.
Wilkes is back in action on Saturday with another matchup against a ranked team as the Colonels face No. 2 Adrian College (9-1-0) at 1:00 p.m. at the Long Island Sports Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.
