Donald Flynn (Randolph, NJ/) leads the team in scoring with 38 points on nine goals and 29 assists, while
Tyler Barrow (Massapequa, NY/Saint Anthony's) is right behind with 35 points on 12 goals and 23 assists.
Tyler Dill (South Lake Tahoe, CA/) has a team-high 15 goals, while
Nick Fea (Oak Ridge, NJ/) has 14 off of a two-goal performance against Neumann Wednesday. Six different Colonels scored goals in the affair and 12 in total recorded at least a point. Senior
Nico Pidro (Cannonsburg, PA/) and junior
Michael Paterson-Jones (Baldwinsville, NY/) form a formidable pair in goal, helping the Colonels post a .907 save percentage as a team while holding opponents to just 2.4 goals per game. Pidro leads the squad with a 1.71 goals against average.
The Chatham Cougars (10-12-2) play anyone and everyone tough, averaging 3.0 goals per game but only allowing 3.5 goals per game. Two Cougars lead the way with seven goals each, while three more have scored six goals on the season for Chatham. Tristan Simm has been a key cog in the Chatham offense, scoring six goals and a team-leading 13 assists. Ricardo Gonzalez has been the star of the show for the Cougars goaltenders, posting a 10-8-2 record on the season in net.
Wilkes won both regular season matchups between the two schools, 4-2 on 1/15 and a 6-3 slugfest in the last week of the regular season back on 2/18. The fourth-seeded Cougars travel to play the Colonels instead of top-seeded Utica due to sixth-seeded Manhttanville defeating third-seeded Stevenson on Wednesday night, sending the lowest remaining seed in the Valiants to Utica instead of the Cougars.
