Wilkes Softball Releases 2024 Schedule
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University athletic department announced the 2024 softball schedule on Thursday as a part of a week-long series featuring schedules for all spring sports.
The Colonels return to the Ralston Athletic Complex for a 30-plus game schedule under the direction of fifth-year head coach
Jackie Klahold. The schedule features 16 Landmark Conference games and 16 home games.

The Colonels kick the season off with the FastPitch Dreams Spring Classic from March 2-9, with teams and times yet to be determined. The Colonels remain on the road after the competition with a doubleheader at Penn State Berks on Saturday, March 16.
The first home games of the year for the team come on Friday, March 22 as they host Lancaster Bible College. The next day, the Colonels travel to open Landmark Conference play with a doubleheader at Moravian on March 23.
Wilkes return home on Sunday, March 24 for a doubleheader with Misericordia University before heading to FDU-Florham on March 26 for a doubleheader with the Devils.
The next six games for the Colonels are home contests, first welcoming Marywood for a doubleheader on March 28 for the team's Mental Health Awareness game. The Colonels then host Landmark Conference opponents University of Scranton on April 3 and Juniata College on April 6 for their NFCA Strike Out Cancer game.
Wilkes hit the road for their next four games, a doubleheader at Lycoming College on April 9 and a doubleheader at Catholic University on April 13, before returning home for four games with non-conference opponent Keystone College on April 16 and Landmark opponent Elizabethtown College on April 30 for Senior Day.
The Colonels wrap up their schedule with non-conference road trips to DeSales University (4/21) and cross-town rival King's College (4/24), before closing out the season with Landmark matchups at home against Susquehanna (4/27) and on the road at Drew University (5/4).
Wilkes will continue to release its 2024 spring schedules with Wilkes men's and women's tennis on Friday.
