WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University men's soccer head coach Michael Piranian has announced that the team will be holding a Soccer Day camp from Monday, August 7 to Thursday, August 10 with Half-Day Camp from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Full Day Camp from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
 
Colonels Soccer Camp will offer each camper an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The camp is open to boys and girls from the age of 6-14. Campers are divided into groups based on age, experience and ability. Emphasis is placed on improving basic technique and athleticism of each camper while allowing them to have fun through the sport of soccer.
 
Campers can register for the full day (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) or half day (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) camp. We recommend children ages 6-8 register for the half day camp. The cost of the clinic is $125 per camper for Half Day Camp. Full Day Camp is $200 per camper, with a Discount of $40 per camper ($160 per camper) if you are a Wilkes University employee or are registering multiple campers. Walk-up registration are welcome but will be charged an additional $25 per camper.
 
Schedule:     9-9:15 a.m. | Campers Arrive
                        9:15-10 a.m. | Attendance check, focus for the day, and warm up
                        10-10:45 a.m. | Individual Skills
                        10:45-11:45 a.m. | Small sided game
                        11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. | Lunch break (must pack your own)
                        1p.m. | Mini-Campers depart
                        1-2 p.m. | Skills challenge
                        2-3 p.m. | League games (full field)
 
Players are asked to bring their Medical Waiver, water, lunch/snacks, and proper footwear for turf surface and walking around on campus.
