ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Both
Patrick Roginski (Shelby Twp., MI/) and
Audrey Milne (London, ON) of the Wilkes men's and women's hockey teams both collected weekly awards, being named men's co-player of the week and women's goaltender of the week for games played from January 8-14 as announced by the conference office this afternoon.
Roginski earned Co-Player of the Week honors for his play in the two-game sweep of Arcadia University on Friday and Saturday as he totaled four points on three goals and one assist.
On Friday, Roginski brought the Colonels level at two with a third period power play goal, and registered an assist on the overtime goal that gave Wilkes the victory 3-2. In Saturday's 7-0 home victory, Roginski scored twice within 25 seconds during the second period to make the score 5-0. Across both games, he totaled six shots on goal and was a +1.
Milne was named UCHC Women's Goaltender of the Week for the second time this season for her historic weekend sweep of Chatham University.
