Wilkes Softball Releases 2025 Schedule

WILKES-BARRE - The Wilkes University athletic department announced the 2025 softball schedule on Wednesday as a part of a series featuring schedules for all spring sports

The Colonels return to the Ralston Athletic Complex for a 30-plus game schedule under the direction of sixth-year head coach Jackie Klahold. The schedule features 16 Landmark games and 16 home games.

The Colonels will begin their season on the road at Wilson College on February 22. From March 1-7, the Colonels will be at the FastPitch Dreams Classic in Myrtle Beach with opponents and times to be determined. Wilkes will remain on the road for a double header against Immaculata on March 19. 

The first home game of the season will be on March 22 as the Colonels host Drew in a doubleheader for their conference opener. The next day, Wilkes will be on the road at Marywood for a doubleheader with the pacers. 

Wilkes will then return home on March 26 to face Penn State Berks and Catholic on March 29  in conference doubleheaders before getting back on the road for six consecutive away games. The Colonels will face Misericordia in a doubleheader on March 30 as well as Scranton and Juniata in Landmark doubleheaders on April 2 and 5. 

Eight home games will follow the six road games, with the Colonels hosting Lycoming (4/8), Moravian (4/12), FDU-Florham (4/15), and King's (4/23) in doubleheaders. Wilkes will then travel to Susquehanna on April 26 before hosting DeSales in the final home game on April 27. The season concludes with a doubleheader on the road against Elizabethtown on May 3.  

Wilkes will continue to release its 2025 spring schedules with men's and women's lacrosse on Thursday.
