SELINSGROVE, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team opened its 2024 spring campaign falling in a close match against Landmark Conference foe Susquehanna University at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club Saturday afternoon.
 
The Colonels finished with a team score of 405 while Susquehanna took the match with a score of 398.
 
Kyleen McCane led all finishers with a round-low 81 (+11). Giana Picco carded a 102 while Mollie Corbett (Hanover Twp., PA/Hanover Area Jr./Sr.) finished with a 107. Morgan Andretta (Middleburg, PA/Midd-West) (115) and Lauren Koval (Swoyersville, PA/Wyoming Valley West) (126) rounded out the Colonel scorers in the dual match.
 
Erin Hahn topped all River Hawk players carding a 90 on the day.
 
Wilkes is right back in action tomorrow (Sunday) when the Colonels play at the Irem Country Club against host Misericordia University at 1:00 p.m.
