Ng to Represent Hong Kong at the Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games

Renee Ng (Hong Kong, China/Mount Academy) has been selected to play for Hong Kong, China at the 2025 Asian Winter Games, held in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China from February 1-15.
Ng becomes the second Colonel to play at the national level this season as
Nina Hudakova (Košice, Slovakia) was also selected to play for Slovakia in the 2025 World University Games in Torino, Italy. In 2024, sophomore
Milica Velcek (Novi Sad, Serbia) competed in the IIHF World Championships for Serbia where she finished fourth.
The Asian Winter Games are held every four years for members of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), showcasing 11 sports with a total of 64 different medal events. Seven nations will compete for the gold medal in women's ice hockey, including China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and Chinese Taipei. All games will be played at the Harbin Sport University Student Skating Rink.
Through 18 games, Ng leads the MAC with 14 assists and has lit the lamp six times, including a team-high three power play goals. She is third in the conference in points per game, averaging 1.11.
Group stage competition at the Asian Winter Games will begin on Monday, Feb. 3., with the gold medal match scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14. Hong Kong will face Kazakhstan on the opening day of action.
