WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's ice hockey team is receiving votes in the USCHO.com Division III preseason poll, as announced by the organization Monday afternoon.

The Colonels return to the rink after a historic 2024-25 campaign that saw them finish with a program-best 22-5-1 record, claiming the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship and the team's first ever NCAA Tournament appearance, led by head coach Dave LaBaff.

The Colonels return a majority of their roster, including all-time leading goal scorer Haylee Bouchard (Sioux Lookout, ON/), MAC Rookie of the Year Renee Ng (Hong Kong, China/Mount Academy), and MAC Championship MVP Audrey Milne (London, ON/), as well as all-conference selections Jordan Ferry (Bohemia, NY/) and Tilly Wierdsma (New Hartford, CT).

Wilkes kicks off the 2025-26 season on Friday, October 31^st as they travel to face the No. 14 ranked Red Dragons of Cortland at 3:00 p.m.
