Wilkes Men's Tennis Competes at Colonels Doubles Invitational
EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University men's tennis team hosted the 2025 Wilkes Doubles Invitational Sunday morning/afternoon at the Ralston Athletic Complex and Kirby Park courts.
In the morning session, the duo of
Cole Riley (Louisville, KY/Xavier) and
Sebastian Sylvester (Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago/The College of Lady Fatima) 3-0 with wins over King's, Moravian and Alfred. The pair won 6-0 over King's, 6-5 (10-8) over Moravian and 6-4 over Alfred. The team of
Xavier Bleiler (Mountain Top, PA/MMI Prep) and
Cole Larcinese (King of Prussia, PA/Methacton) went 2-1 in their morning pod with a 6-5 (7-5) win over Alfred and 6-4 victory over King's.
In the afternoon session,
Otarhe Okoh (Shakopee, MN/Shakopee) and Sylvester went 2-1 with victories over Rowan South Jersey (6-4) and Moravian (6-3). Riley/Bleiler won two matches in the afternoon Pod 4 with wins over Alfred (6-3) and Misericordia (6-0).
Landon Gleichauf (Naples, NY/Naples) and
Luke Meissner (Eldersburg, MD/Liberty) won one match over King's (6-4) in Pod 6.
The event concludes the fall schedule for the Colonels. Spring play begins in February.
