NEWTOWN, Pa. - Wilkes women's ice hockey forward Haylee Bouchard (Sioux Lookout, ON/) has been selected as the Middle Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her historic performance against Stevenson over the weekend, as announced by the conference Tuesday morning.

This is the first time in Bouchard's career that she has received the honor.

Bouchard recorded four goals and two assists in an 8-1 victory over the Mustangs on Saturday. Her six-point outing set new program records for most points and goals in a single game, breaking her previous records that stood for over a year.

With the sweep over Stevenson, the Colonels are 8-1 overall, and the MAC's first seed with 22 points and a 7-1 record in conference play.

Bouchard and the Colonels return to the ice on Saturday, Jan. 3 against Utica University on the road. Puck drop is scheduled for 1 p.m.
