WILKES-BARRE – Goaltenders Audrey Milne (London, ON) and Duncan Rolleman (New Hamburg, ON) of the Wilkes Ice Hockey programs swept the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Defensive Player of the Week Awards, as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

This is the first weekly award of the year for both Milne and Rolleman, and the first of Rolleman's career. This also marks the second time Wilkes has swept a weekly award this season, taking home both the Men's and Women's Offensive Player of the Week awards two weeks ago.

Milne was a force in net for Wilkes, making 39 total saves across two games to help the Colonels secure first place in the MAC. She opened her weekend with a 23-save performance against Arcadia on Saturday, picking up the shootout win with two saves. On Sunday against Lebanon Valley, Milne added 16 more in the 3-1 victory that helped them go four points clear in the standings with three games to play.

Rolleman started the second game of the weekend for the men making 37 saves in a 2-1 win at Arcadia on Saturday, a new career-high for the sophomore goaltender.

Both teams will be in action again on Friday, February 14 against cross-town rival King's College. The men will host the Monarchs at the Toyota SportsPlex at 5:00 p.m. while the women travel to the Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston, Pa. for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop.
