WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University baseball team revealed its spring 2027 baseball schedule on Friday.

Wilkes looks to continue on strong 2025 and 2026 campaigns that saw the Colonels finish a combined 37–11 in Landmark Conference play, earning back-to-back top seeds in the Landmark Championship. However, the Colonels look to get over the hump after a pair of early conference tournament exits, and are searching for their first NCAA bid since 2007. Head coach Mike Guy enters his fourth season with the Colonels.

The Colonels open the 2027 season on Mar. 2 at The College of New Jersey before making a spring break trip to Fort Pierce, Florida with opponents to be determined

Wilkes plays a pair of road non-conference games against DeSales (Mar. 16) and Montclair State (Mar. 17), leading into the Colonels' Landmark opening three-game series at Moravian on Mar. 20 and 21.

The Colonels follow with the first of three single games against Lycoming in Williamsport on Mar. 23, then a cross-town rivalry matchup at King's on Mar. 24. After playing its first eight games on the road, not including spring break, the Colonels finally play at Bruggeworth Field for a Landmark series against Elizabethtown on Mar. 27 and 28. Wilkes wraps up the month of March with a mid-week conference matchup against the University of Scranton on Mar. 31.

Wilkes begins April at Drew on Apr. 2 and 3 before welcoming Lycoming on Apr. 6. The Colonels make a trip to Dallas to battle Misericordia on Apr. 7, followed by a non-conference doubleheader against SUNY Brockport on Apr. 10. Wilkes hosts another non-conference matchup against Christopher Newport on Sunday, Apr. 11.

The navy and gold head to Scranton to face the Royals on Apr. 14, then head to our nation's capital for a series at Catholic on Apr. 17 and 18. The Colonels play their final matchup at Lycoming on Apr. 20 before starting a nine-game homestand against Penn State-Harrisburg on Apr. 22. The next seven home games all take place against Landmark opponents, with a series against Juniata (Apr. 24 and 25), a third matchup against Scranton (Apr. 28), and its conference finale against Susquehanna (May 1 and 2).

Wilkes' final home game takes place on May 3 against Keystone, then wraps up the regular season in upstate New York at Ithaca (May 4) and Elmira (May 5).

The 2027 Landmark Conference Baseball Championship begins on May 12 with opening contests being played at the higher seed, then games on May 14–16 to be played at the highest seed possible.
