TOWSON, Md. - Wilkes softball first-year pitcher Audrey Rinda (Easton, PA/Easton Area) was named Landmark Conference Pitcher of the Week for her performance against Waynesburg on Sunday, as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

It's the first weekly accolade of her collegiate career, and she's the first Wilkes pitcher to receive the honor since 2024.

Rinda made an immediate impact in her first career start as a Colonel. She pitched a complete game shutout while striking out nine batters and allowing just six hits, and the Colonels won the game 6-0 to improve their record to 2-0.

Rinda and Colonels will stay in Myrtle Beach for the remainder of the week. They play six more games in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic before returning to Wilkes-Barre on March 19 for a doubleheader against Immaculata.
