TOWSON, Md. – Wilkes softball senior Hana Cross (Kendall Park, NJ/South Brunswick) earned her first Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week honor following a standout performance, as announced by the conference this afternoon.

The recognition marks Cross' first career weekly award and the first for the Wilkes softball program since joining the Landmark Conference.

The New Jersey native delivered a dominant week at the plate, going 5-for-11 (.455) across four games against Widener and Elizabethtown. Cross highlighted her performance with three home runs against Widener, driving in six runs, including a go-ahead three-run blast in the seventh inning to lift the Colonels to a 5–3 victory.

Cross and the Colonels return to the Ralston Athletic Complex on Wednesday, April 8, where they will host the University of Scranton for a doubleheader scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
