GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wilkes University baseball second baseman Jack Mathis (Exeter PA/Wyoming Area) has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings Division III All-Region V Third Team, as announced by the organization Tuesday morning.

This marks Mathis' first-career All-Region selection, and the third for the Colonels under head coach Mike Guy.

In his junior campaign, Mathis led the Colonels in batting average (.365), on-base percentage (1.001), hits (50), triples (6 – most in the Landmark Conference), total bases (73), and stolen bases (34). He was also second on the team in slugging percentage (.533) and walks (22). For his play, Mathis was named to the All-Landmark Second Team after being named an Honorable Mention as a sophomore.
