LANDISVILLE – The Wilkes University women's tennis team claimed three singles championships and all three doubles titles at the MAC Women's Tennis Individual Championships. 

           
At No. 1 singles, Victoria Bybel (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) took down Kate Steiner, 6-0, 6-4 before winning the individual championship with a 2-6, 6-3, 10-6 tie-break win over Sarah Grodzinski of Lebanon Valley. 

           
At No. 2 singles, Xiaoqiao Zhang (Zhengzhou City, China/Warren Hills (N.J.)) cruised to the finals by taking a 6-0, 6-0 win over Kelly Moll of Lebanon Valley before taking a 6-2, 6-2 straight-set win over Alice Yu of Elizabethtown to win the individual championship. Alison McDonald (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita), playing at the No. 3 position, advanced to the finals with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Elizabethtown's Jessica Russell before taking down Charissa Nordall of Lebanon Valley in the finals, 6-3, 6-1. 

           
In the doubles competition, the duo of McDonald and Zhang won their semifinal match over Jessica Russell and Emily Swarr of Elizabethtown, 8-5 before taking an 8-4 win over Jess Smith and Steiner of DeSales, 8-4.

           
At No. 2 doubles, Bybel and Kristin Wilt (Milton, Pa./Milton) won the championship with an 8-3 win over Maura Haupt and Courtney Otto of Misericordia before defeating Kelly Moll and Jan White of Lebanon Valley 8-4 in the championship match. 

           
Michelle Knight (Washington, Pa./Trinity) and Rebekah Shanaman (Richland, Pa./ELCO), playing at the No. 3 spot rounded out the winning for Wilkes with an 8-0 win over Megan Gillespie and Danielle Klim of Arcadia before taking an 8-1 convincing win over Steph Knepper and Katie Marstaller of Messiah in the championship match.
