The Colonels saw six runners reach top 10 times in program history while setting season-best marks in the process. Jordan Siddons (Archbald, PA/Valley View) led the way coming in at 29:03, the third fastest time in school history in the 8k. Tyler Sutton (Wyalusing, PA/Wyalusing Valley) followed at 29:12, the fifth fastest in school history, while Forest Hawkins (Ashley, PA/Hanover) crossed the line with the seventh fastest time in program history at 29:28. Matt Buono finished at 29:32, a personal best and eighth fastest in school history. Daniel Lykens (Reading, PA/Governor Mifflin) bested his personal mark at 29:45, good for ninth all-time. Tim Jurkowski (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) (29:46/10th all-time), Austin Loukas (Windham, Maine/Windham) (30:12), Paul Williams (Pittston, PA/Pittston) (30:17), and Martin Tolbert (York, PA/William Penn) (31:17) all ran personal best times in the event for Wilkes. Wilkes will have a tune up at the Elizabethtown Invitational next Saturday at 11:30 a.m. before traveling to Misericordia University for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet on October 27.
