Steve Finkernagel Wilkes geared up for the MAC Championship race next Saturday running four Colonels at the Elizabethtown Invitational WILKES MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT ETOWN INVITATIONAL 10/20/2012 7:11:00 PM WILKES MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT ETOWN INVITATIONAL ELIZABETHTOWN, PA – The Wilkes University men's cross country team saw four runners compete at the Elizabethtown College Invitational Saturday afternoon in preparation for next week's MAC Championship meet. Four Colonels ran in the 6.2k race as 149 total runners crossed the finish line. Austin Loukas (Windham, Maine/Windham) led the Colonels finishing 86th with a time of 26:04. Stephen Snyder (Sinking Springs, PA/Berks Catholic) was right behind Loukas crossing the line at 26:04 for 87th place. Aston Zanecki finished in 117th with a time of 28:20, while RJ Sperazza came in at 29:35, good for 137th place. Wilkes will return to action next Saturday when the travel to nearby Misericordia University for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship race scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Print Friendly Version
