WILKES WOMEN'S TENNIS EARNS 7-2 WIN AGAINST MORAVIAN

HILTON HEAD, SC – The Wilkes University women's tennis team won two of three doubles flights before posting wins in five of six singles matches to post a 7-2 win over Moravian College Tuesday afternoon in Hilton Head Island.

Wilkes remains perfect on the young season improving to 4-0. Moravian falls to 2-3 on the year.

The teams of Alexis Donner (Belmar, NJ/Wall)/Ally Kristofco (Hollidaysburg, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) and Anna Mitchell (Montclair, NJ/Montclair)/Ana English claimed doubles wins for Wilkes at the No.2 and No.3 positions respectively.

Katie Lynn (Berwick, PA/Berwick), Kristofco, Mitchell, Donner, and English all posted singles wins as the Lady Colonels cruised to the dual match victory. All five singles wins came in straight sets.

Wilkes continues its spring break trip Wednesday with a match against Bridgewater College (Va.) at 8:15 a.m.
