The Lady Colonels end their season with a 7-6 overall record standing 0-6 in league games. The Valiants stand 4-12 overall and 3-3 in Freedom contests. Manhattanville opened the game with four straight goals until Wilkes answered with a goal from Olivia Dworak (Dupont, PA/Wyoming Seminary) six minutes into the game. After a Carley Smith (York, PA/Dallastown) score made it 8-2 Manhattanville, Gabby Ford (Elmont, NY/Sewanhaka) found the back of the net on two straight free position shots to cut the Valiant lead to 9-4. Manhattanville answered scoring the games next three goals to take a 13-6 lead with 2:23 left in the first half. Smith and Ford added back-to-back goals to end the half as Wilkes trailed 13-8 after 30 minutes of play. The Valiants scored six of the first seven goals scored to start the second to take a 19-9 lead with 18:34 left in the contest. Ford notched her fifth goal of the game and Smith added her fourth strike with 13:50 left, but Manhattanville scored three more times in the final 11 minutes of play to secure the league victory. Ford finished the afternoon with five goals and one assist, including her 100th career goal. She concludes her sophomore campaign with 101 career goals standing second on the school's all-time list behind Brittney Hodnik '09 who amassed 105 goals. Smith added four goals and two assists. Cassie Cronin (Manchester, NH/Manchester Memorial) made 11 saves in net for Wilkes and finishes her fine career in the Navy and Gold with a school record 533 saves (2. Cassie Malone 384).
