WILKES WOMEN'S TENNIS MOVES TO 12-0 WITH 6-3 WIN AT DICKINSON

CARLISLE, PA – The Wilkes women's tennis team continued its perfect season posting a 6-3 win at Dickinson College Monday afternoon.

The Lady Colonels improved to 12-0 on the year while Dickinson dropped to 12-3 overall on the season.

Wilkes opened the match taking two of three doubles flights, before posting victories in four of six bouts in singles play. Ally Kristofco (Hollidaysburg, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) secured a 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles, followed by wins by Anna Mitchell (Montclair, NJ/Montclair) (7-5, 1-6, 10-5), Alexis Donner (Belmar, NJ/Wall) (6-3, 6-0), and Amanda Holyk (Scranton, PA/Scranton Prep) (6-2, 6-4) at No. 4, 5, and 6.

In doubles play, the duo of Kristofco/Donner posted an 8-4 win at No. 2 while Mitchell/Ana English took an 8-5 victory at No. 3.

Wilkes will look to remain undefeated Saturday when they host cross-town rival King's College at 1:00 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
