Wilkes finishes the regular season at 9-8-1 (2-4-1) while Misericordia improves to 13-5 (5-2). Nick VonEgypt scored the Cougars first goal when he hustled for a ball rolling out of bounds, kept it in play and fed a ball back to Derek Antonini who slotted the ball into a wide open net. The lead lasted just three minutes when Geoffrey Arentz (Stevens, PA/Lancaster Catholic ) found a loose ball of a corner and buried it into the back of the net to even the score at one a piece. VonEgypt scored a goal of his own in the 11th minute when he finished off a rebound that hit the post and bounced into a favorable position for him to slot away into an empty net. One minute into the second half vonEgypt put the Cougars up 3-1 when he scored his second of the game. Eric McAnena (Horsham, PA/Abington) gave the Colonels some life when he scored off a header to trim the lead to 3-2. The Colonels fought frantically until the end and McAnena nearly tied the game at 3-3 when his shot from the center of the 18-yard box trickled wide right.
