Wilkes opens the round robin tournament with a matchup with Berkeley College (NY) on Saturday followed by a showdown with Susquehanna University on Sunday. Originally, the tournament was set to open on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. with Wilkes taking on Berkeley and King's hosting Susquehanna at 8:00 p.m. But due to the expected weather, the schedule has been altered and King's will face Susquehanna in the first game at 2:00 p.m. with Wilkes playing Berkeley at 4:00 p.m. The Sunday schedule will remain the same Wilkes taking on Susquehanna at 1:00 p.m. followed by King's facing Berkeley at 3:00 p.m. Live stats and live audio for both games can be found at the links below. Live Stats Live Audio: ESPN Williamsport (Zach Barlage, play-by-play) The Colonels enter the weekend tournament with a 4-3 overall record after falling to pre-season favorite DeSales University on Saturday 75-71. Sophomore guard Alec Wizar (Lebanon, PA/Annville Cleona) continues to lead the Colonels offensive attack scoring 17.1 points per-game. Wizar is shooting 45.2 percent (28-62) from beyond the arc to start the season. Senior forward Pat Furst (Jamison, PA/Central Bucks West) is also scoring in double figures at 15.0 points per-game. Furst leads the team with 43 total rebounds, grabbing 6.1 caroms per-game. The Colonels average 75.0 points per-contest and allow opponents to score 71.7 points per-contest. As a team Wilkes is shooting 46.7 percent from the field. Berkeley enters the tournament with a 5-2 overall mark and are led by sophomore Keenan Langston who is averaging 20.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per-game. Danzel Whyte nearly averages a double-double with 12.8 points and 9.7 boards per-game. The Knights average 78.4 points per-contest and allow opponents to score 73.6 points per-game. Susquehanna enters the classic with a 3-3 overall record after falling to Scranton 82-68 on Saturday. The Crusaders are led offensively by a pair of underclassmen in Steven Weidlich and Brandon Hedley. Weidlich is averaging 16.2 points per-game while Hedley notches 15.7 points per-contest. Both Weidlich and Hedley like to shoot from the outside with both hitting over three three-pointers per-game. Senior Harley Sellinger adds to the double-digit scoring list averaging 10.2 points per-game. Sellinger leads the team in rebounds averaging 8.8 caroms per-game. Susquehanna averages 78.3 points per-game while yielding 74.2 points per-contest defensively. Wilkes will remain idle through the Christmas holiday returning to action in the new year when the Colonels travel to nearby Scranton, Pa. to compete in the third annual Cross County Challenge at the University of Scranton on January 3 and 4.
