With the loss, Wilkes stands at 3-1 while Albright improves to 5-1. Wilkes fell behind in the first half 11-6. Gabby Ford (Elmont, NY/Sewanhaka) scored first followed by Tori Kerr (Beacon, NY/Beacon). After another Ford goal, Wilkes was behind 4-3 before Albright scored three straight times. The Lady Colonels responded with three goals of their own with a goal from Carley Smith (York, PA/Dallastown), Ford, and Kerr. The Lions tacked on four more goals to take an 11-6 lead into the break. After two Albright goals to start the period, the Lady Colonels outscored the Lions 7-2. Smith laced three more goals and dished an assist in the second half while Madeleine Brownsey (Glenside, PA/St. Basil Academy) scored a tally of her own. Ford led the offense with five goals while Smith added four and Kerr three. The Lions were led by Amanda Smith with five goals.
