In game one, Zach Lazar (Berwick, PA/Berwick Area) went four innings, scattering six hits and allowing no free passes in picking up his first win of the season. Angelo Trento (Jamesburg, NJ/Jamesburg) and A.J. Mihaly (Berwick, PA/Berwick Area) each through scoreless frames in relief. Bobby Schappell (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) led the Colonels offensively, posting four RBI's and a stolen base while going 4-for-5 at the plate. Dan Pisanchyn (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) added five RBI's of his own while going 3-for-3 on the day. In the nightcap, Brandon Michael (Berwick, PA/Berwick Area) tossed a complete game allowing only three hits while striking out six in his first win of the season. Offensively, Eric Hauer (Wapwallopen, PA/Greater Nanticoke Area) went 1-for-2 with a run scored while Schappell and Tom Ring (Massapequa Park, NY/St. John the Baptist) recorded RBI's.
