With the sweep, the Colonels improve to 4-0 on the season. In game one, Cory Dickson (Ashley, PA/Hanover Area) picked up the win scattering six hits through four innings while allowing three earned runs. Tyler Schmitt (Gap, PA/Pequea Valley) collected his first save. Bobby Schappell (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville), Dan Pisanchyn (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights), and Nick Craig (Springfield, PA/The Haverford School) all garnered two hits apiece, with Pisanchyn knocking in two runs. In game two, Patrick Condo (Dallas, PA/Holy Redeemer) earned the win striking out eight and giving up six hits in six innings. Marc Perry (Dunmore, PA/Dunmore) threw a scoreless inning in relief. Carmen Lopresto (Pittston, PA/Pittston Area) and Pisanchyn ripped two hits each while Schappell stayed hot with a 3-for-5 performance collecting three RBI's. Lopresto and Schappell each scored three runs apiece. Tied at two until the bottom of the fifth, the Colonels pounded out 11 runs in route to the 13-2 victory.
