With the win, Wilkes improves to 6-0 while PSU Berks falls to 3-4. Marc Perry (Dunmore, PA/Dunmore) started the game, surrendering four runs on five hits through four innings. A.J. Mihaly (Berwick, PA/Berwick Area) picked up the win in relief, giving up three runs while striking out four in 4 1/3 innings.Tyler Schmitt (Gap, PA/Pequea Valley) enforced the game-ending groundball to escape the jam and pick up his second save of the season. Offensively, the Colonels had three hitters with two base hits. Dan Pisanchyn (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) and Bobby Schappell (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) each hit a double as one of their two hits while the duo combined for five RBI's. Stephen Ruch (Dallas, PA/Holy Redeemer) had two hits and two RBI's while Carmen Lopresto (Pittston, PA/Pittston Area) and Schappell each scored three times.
