WILKES WOMEN'S TENNIS SCORES 7-2 VICTORY AT SCRANTON

SCRANTON, PA – The Wilkes University women's tennis team stormed out to a 3-0 lead after doubles play and took four of six matches in singles competition on way to a 7-2 victory at the University of Scranton on Sunday afternoon.

Wilkes moves to 11-1 overall while Scranton drops to 5-7 on the year.

Wilkes received straight set singles wins from Melanie Nolt (Manheim, PA/Manheim Central) (No.1), Ally Kristofco (Hollidaysburg, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) (No. 2), Amanda Holyk (Scranton, PA/Scranton Prep) (No. 4), and Summer Lentini (Bear Creek, PA/Coughlin) (No. 6).

Wilkes returns to Freedom play Tuesday with a road matchup against cross-town rival King's College at 3:30 p.m.
