The Colonel men finished in sixth place of 11 teams, while the Wilkes women claimed eleventh place of 12 teams. On the Wilkes men's side, Daniel Lykens (Reading, PA/Governor Mifflin) led the way crossing the line at 29:21, good for eighth all-time in the 8k in school history. Lykens finished 29th overall in the 120-participant race. Tyler Sutton (Wyalusing, PA/Wyalusing Valley) followed in 30th place with a time of 29:37, ranking 12th all-time in school history. For the Lady Colonels, Vianna Crowley led Wilkes for the second consecutive race finishing with a time of 21:45, claiming 34th place overall. Both teams return to the course next Saturday when they travel to nearby Dallas, Pa. to run at the Cougar Classic hosted by Misericordia University starting at 10:30 a.m. Print Friendly Version
