WILKES WOMEN'S TENNIS SCORES TWO WINS TO OPEN 2013 FALL CAMPAIGN

EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University women's tennis team opened the 2013 fall campaign with a pair of wins Saturday afternoon blanking Keystone College and Rosemont College 9-0.

Wilkes moves to 2-0 on the year while both Keystone and Rosemont fall to 0-1 on the young season.

In the match against Keystone, all five positions earned straight set wins including three 6-0, 6-0 victories (No. 1, 2, 3). Against Rosemont, three Lady Colonels scored straight set wins as Ally Kristofco (Hollidaysburg, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle), Kendra Croker (Old Forge, PA/Scranton Prep) and Ashli Livermore (Altoona, PA/Altoona) all posted 6-0, 6-0 victories at No. 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

Wilkes returns to the courts Friday when it travels to Marywood University for a match at 4:00 p.m. in Scranton, Pa.
