WILKES WOMEN'S TENNIS POSTS 9-0 WIN OVER PENN COLLEGE

EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University women's tennis team prepped for its showing in the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Tournament this weekend with a 9-0 victory over Penn College Thursday afternoon at the Ralston Athletic Complex.

Wilkes concludes its fall dual match season with a 5-1 overall mark.

Wilkes did not surrender a single game in the match as the Lady Colonels swept all three doubles flights 8-0 before posting six straight 6-0, 6-0 victories in singles play.

Wilkes will compete in the MAC Individual Tournament Saturday and Sunday at the Ralston Athletic Complex and Kirby Park courts.
