WILKES MEN'S TENNIS BLANKS ELIZABETHTOWN 9-0

EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University men's tennis team remained unbeaten on the season posting a 9-0 victory over visiting Elizabethtown College Friday afternoon in non-conference regional action from the Ralston Athletic Complex.

Wilkes improves to 7-0 on the year while Elizabethtown drops to 1-3 on the season following the defeat.

Wilkes swept all three doubles flights before posting wins in all six singles matches.

Steven Wilson (Bronx, NY/JFK), Max Appello (Sparta, NJ/Sparta), Dominic Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy), Michael Kranz (Depew, NY/Lancaster Central), and Adam Lefkandinos (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) and Troy Haas (Huntington Station, NY/Walt Whitman) all recorded straight set singles wins for the Colonels.

Wilkes returns to the courts Tuesday traveling to Division II Bloomsburg University at 4:00 p.m.
