• Wilkes welcomes Elizabethtown College to the Marts Center for a home dual match scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Colonels posted a 31-6 victory over the Blue Jays last season and have won the last four meetings between the two schools since 2011-12.
 
• Wilkes finished 1-2 at the 2015 John Reese Duals falling 20-17 against No. 16 York (Pa.) and 18-16 to No. 12 Stevens Tech before claiming a 30-18 victory over Rowan College.
 
• Wilkes returns seven of ten starters from last year's roster including NCAA Champion Matthew Grossmann (Lancaster, PA/Manheim Township) (133) and NCAA qualifiers Kyle Diesel (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) (184), Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) (125/2012) and Josh Evans (Palmerton, PA/Palmerton) (149).
 
• Wilkes features four wrestlers ranked in the top ten according to the latest NWCA individual rankings including Fleck (8th at 125), Grossmann (1st at 133), Evans (8th at 149) and Diesel (5th at 184).
 
• The Colonels finished in second place at its season-opening tournament the Monarch Invitational hosted by King's College last Saturday. Wilkes claimed three titles including Fleck at 125, Grossmann at 133 and Diesel at 184.
 
• Four other Colonels earned top-six finishes joining Fleck, Grossmann and Diesel including Evans (2nd place-149), Nicholas Dawson (Montoursville, PA/Montoursville) (2nd place-197), Pankil Chander (Cedarhurst, NY/Lawrence) (3rd place-141) and Corey Fleming (6th place-149).
