The win earned the Lady Colonels a season sweep of their local rivals. Wilkes now stands one game out of the final postseason berth trailing Delaware Valley and King's with games against each in the next two weeks. Elena Stambone (Jessup, PA/Valley View) tops the squad offensively averaging 16.5 points and 3.1 rebounds. Stambone has connected on a team-high 32 three-pointers while shooting 71.4 percent from the charity stripe. The senior sharp shooter stands just 122 points away from breaking the school's all-time scoring mark set by Diane Kendig (1,671 points) in 1981. Chelsea Brown (Garnet Valley, PA/Garnet Valley) follows with 10.6 points and a team-best 7.7 rebounds playing in 16 games this season. Cara Basile (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) and Chelsea Smelas (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) add 9.4 points and 8.7 points respectively to add depth to the Lady Colonels lineup.
