Wilkes Tennis Teams Post 9-0 Sweep of Delaware Valley

EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University men's and women's tennis teams swept a pair of Freedom Conference matches against new league member Delaware Valley University on Tuesday afternoon at the Ralston Athletic Complex.

The Colonel men improve to 14-2 overall while the Lady Colonels move to 13-1 on the year. Both squads stand a perfect 4-0 in conference play.

Delaware Valley entered the matches in its first spring sponsoring the sport of tennis and its first matches against Wilkes.

Wilkes travels to Arcadia University Saturday for a Freedom Conference doubleheader starting at 10:30 a.m. (men) and 12:30 p.m. (women).
