FREDERICKSBURG, VA – Wilkes University men's tennis standout Courtney Murphy (Bronx, NY/Christopher Columbus) moved into the round of 16 at the ITA Southeast Regional Individual Championships Saturday with two wins in singles play.
 
Murphy, unseeded, began the day with an upset win over ninth seeded Vayum Arora of Carnegie Mellon before posting a straight set 6-2, 6-1 win in the round of 32 draw to move into the next round.
 
Murphy will play Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the championship round of 16.
