WILKES-BARRE -  The Wilkes University women's and men's basketball teams will travel to nearby Dallas to take on Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) foe  Misericordia University, who is closely ranked to both Wilkes teams, this weekend.

The Lady Colonels enter this weekend's matchup with a 3-17 record, 0-9 in the MAC Freedom following their 76-47 loss at Eastern on Wednesday evening. Wilkes is led by Cara Basile (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall), who is averaging 11.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 29.5 minutes-per-game this season. The Lady Colonels are also led by Catey McFadden (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood), who is averaging 7.9 points and 4.1 rebounds in 25.0 minutes-per-game this season. Wilkes currently ranks third in the MAC Freedom in steals, averaging 10.9 per-game.

Misericordia enters this weekend's matchup with a 6-14 overall record, 2-7 in MAC Freedom play following its 77-45 loss at DeSales on Wednesday.
