Wilkes Men's Tennis Set to Host MAC Freedom Semifinals on Wednesday
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's tennis team is set to begin its quest for a ninth-straight Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom team title when it will host Misericordia in the MAC Freedom semifinals at Ralston Athletic Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
The two teams met once this season with the Colonels scoring a 9-0 victory. Full match results are listed below:

Wilkes enters the MAC Freedom tournament with a 20-2 overall record, 5-0 in MAC Freedom play. The Colonels are led by
Courtney Murphy (Bronx, NY/Christopher Columbus), who is 12-3 in No. 1 singles play.
Max Appello (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) is 13-1 at No. 2 single while
Adam Lefkandinos (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) and
Dominic Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) both have five wins at No. 3 singles.

Jacob Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) are 7-2 at No. 1. Lefkandinos/Murphy are 6-0 at No. 2 doubles while

Andrew Neidig (Matamoras, PA/Delaware Valley) are 3-0 at No. 3 doubles.
Misericordia enters the tournament 4-5 overall and 2-3 in MAC Freedom play. The Cougars are led by Corey Dulsky, who is 2-6 in No. 1 singles play. Christian Pugliese is 4-2 at No. 2 singls while Tony Goodall is 5-1 at No. 3.
In doubles play, Dulsky/Goodall are 4-4 at No. 1 doubles. Pugliese/Alec Rodway are 3-1 at No. 2 while Samarth Shah/Tristan Snyder are 1-3 at No. 3 doubles.
The winner continues to the MAC Freedom finals on Saturday, which will be hosted by the highest remaining seed.
