WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's and women's basketball teams are set to hit the road for a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom doubleheader at DeSales on Wednesday evening in Center Valley, Pa. The women's game will tip at 6 p.m. with the men to follow at 8 p.m.

The Lady Colonels enter this week's matchup with a4-10 overall record, 0-4 in MAC Freedom play following its 66-56 defeat to Eastern on Saturday afternoon.

Wilkes is led by freshman Gianna Roberts (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke), who is averaging 8.6 points-per-game (ppg) with 4.7 rebounds-per-game (rpg). The Lady Colonels are also led by sophomore Ashley Caster (York, PA/Spring Grove)'s 8.3 ppg and 5.4 rpg, and senior Haley Mesaros (Royersford, PA/Pope John Paul II)' 8.0 ppg and 3.5 rpg.
