WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's and men's basketball teams are set to hit the road for Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom cross-town rival King's College on Saturday afternoon. The women will tip-off at 1 p.m. followed by the men at 3 p.m.

The Lady Colonels enter this weekend's matchup with a 4-11 overall record, 0-5 in MAC Freedom play following its 78-50 loss at DeSales on Wednesday evening.

Wilkes is led by freshman Gianna Roberts (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke), who is averaging 8.3 points and 4.7 rebounds-per-game. Wilkes is led by sophomore Marcus Robinson (Swedesboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional) 16.1 points-per-game and 4.0 rebounds-per-game this season. The Colonels are also led by sophomore Connor Evans (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse)' 12.1 points and 4.0 assists-per game, and sophomore Tommy Bowen (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin)'s 8.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists-per-game this season.

King's enters the meeting with a 4-11 overall record, 0-5 in MAC Freedom play after falling to Misericordia 62-48 on Wednesday evening.

The Monarchs are led by senior Dan Rutecki, who is averaging 15.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists-per-game this season. King's is also led by junior Connor Callejas' 13.8 points and 2.1 assists-per-game, and senior John Fazzini's 6.4 points-per-game.
