WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's and men's basketball teams will close out the first half of Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play on Wednesday evening when they welcome Misericordia University to the Marts Center. The women will tip off at 6 p.m. followed by the men at 8 p.m.

The Lady Colonels enter this week's contest with a 4-12 overall record, 0-6 in MAC Freedom play following their 71-61 loss at King's College on Saturday afternoon.

Wilkes is led by sophomore Ashley Caster (York, PA/Spring Grove), who is averaging 8.1 points-per-game (PPG) and 5.3 rebounds-per-game (RPG).
