Wilkes Men's Tennis Concludes Play at Ranger Invitational
MADISON, NJ – The Wilkes University men's tennis team concluded play on day two of the Ranger Invitational hosted by Drew University on Sunday afternoon.

Wilkes opened day two with doubles competition sweeping all five flights against the host Drew.
Courtney Murphy (Bronx, NY/Christopher Columbus) and
Jonathan White (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) took an 8-6 decision at No. 1 pairs.
Adam Lefkandinos (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) and
Andrew Neidig (Matamoras, PA/Delaware Valley) teamed up to win 8-4 at No. 2.
Artyom Nabokin (Las Vegas, NV/Danvers) and
Troy Haas (Huntington Station, NY/Walt Whitman) were 8-3 winners at No. 3 while
Braddock Chow (Glen Cove, NY/Glen Cove) and
Gabriel Velez (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) also won 8-3 at No. 4.
Chris Maderitz (York, PA/Central York) and
Alec Levin (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May) rounded out the doubles winners for Wilkes with an 8-4 victory at No. 5.
The Colonels continued its dominance in doubles play against Roger Williams winning four flights. Murphy/White won 8-4 at No. 1 followed by wins from Lefkandinos/Neidig at No. 2, Nabokin/Haas at No. 3 and Chow/Maderitz at No. 4.
In singles play, Murphy finished a perfect 6-0 over the two-day stretch winning 6-1, 4-6, 10-0 at No. 1 over Drew's Salikh Gilmutdinov. Nabokin scored a 6-7, 6-3, 10-7 win at No. 2 singles before White went straight sets 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3.
Other singles winners on day two for Wilkes included Haas, Maderitz, Chow, Neidig and Velez.
Wilkes remains idle until its annual spring break trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina on March 4
th.
