WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's and women's basketball teams will host DeSales in a mid-week Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom doubleheader on Wednesday evening.

The Lady Colonels enter this week's matchup with a 5-16 overall record, 0-10 in MAC Freedom play following its 62-47 loss to Manhattanville on Saturday afternoon.

Wilkes is led by sophomore Ashley Caster (York, PA/Spring Grove), who is averaging 8.1 points-per-game (PPG) and 5.2 rebounds-per-game (RPG) this same. The Lady Colonels are also led by freshman Gianna Roberts (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke), who is averaging 7.9 ppg and 4.4 rpg, and senior Haley Mesaros (Royersford, PA/Pope John Paul II), who is averaging 7.2 ppg and 3.4 rpg.

The Colonels enters tomorrow matchup with an 11-10 overall record, 5-5 in MAC Freedom play following their thrilling 68-63 overtime win against Manhattanville on Saturday afternoon.

Wilkes is led by sophomore Marcus Robinson (Swedesboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional), who is averaging 15.5 ppg and 4.0 rpg this season.
