Wilkes Men's Tennis Scores 8-1 Win at Dickinson
CARLISLE, PA – The Wilkes University men's tennis team scored an 8-1 victory at Dickinson College Monday afternoon in a non-conference matchup.
With the win Wilkes moved to 15-3 overall and increased its win streak to eight matches.
Wilkes won all three doubles matches with its toughest competition coming at No. 2 pairs where
Adam Lefkandinos (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) and
Andrew Neidig (Matamoras, PA/Delaware Valley) won 9-7.
In singles play, Wilkes saw five of its six players in the lineup take victories including
Courtney Murphy (Bronx, NY/Christopher Columbus),
Artyom Nabokin (Las Vegas, NV/Danvers), Lefkandinos,
Jonathan White (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) and
Braddock Chow (Glen Cove, NY/Glen Cove).
Wilkes has a quick turnaround getting back into MAC Freedom play Wednesday when the Colonels travel to cross-town rival King's College at 3:30 p.m.
