Wilkes Men's Tennis Shuts Down Keystone 9-0
EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University men's tennis team posted a 9-0 sweep of visiting Keystone College Thursday afternoon at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
Wilkes improved to 17-3 overall following the non-league match win.
After going up 3-0 in doubles play all by scores of 8-0, Wilkes posted straight set sweeps in all six singles flights.
Braddock Chow (Glen Cove, NY/Glen Cove) won at No. 1,
Chris Maderitz (York, PA/Central York) at No. 2,
Andrew Neidig (Matamoras, PA/Delaware Valley) at No. 3,
Gabriel Velez (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) at No. 4,
Will Miller (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) at No. 5 and
Alec Levin (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May) at No. 6 all by 6-0, 6-0 decisions.
Wilkes is back in action Saturday hosting Muhlenberg College for a non-conference match at 11:00 a.m.
