Stevens Snaps Wilkes Men's Tennis Seven Match Win Streak
HOBOKEN, NJ – Host Stevens University posted an 8-1 non-conference victory over Wilkes University snapping the Colonels seven-match win streak in the process Sunday afternoon at the Stevens Tennis Courts.
Wilkes dropped to 15-5 overall while Stevens improved to 11-9, ranked 39
th in the NCAA Division III national rankings.
Jonathan White (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) recorded the Colonels lone win in the match taking his No. 3 singles match 0-6, 6-4, 6-3.
Wilkes remains in action tomorrow (Monday) with a home non-league match against Ursinus College at 3:30 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
