Wilkes Basketball Welcomes Delaware Valley on Wednesday
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's and women's basketball teams welcome Delaware Valley University to the Marts Center on Wednesday night for a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader.
The men tip-off at 6:00 p.m. with the women to follow at 8:00 p.m. as the conference schedule has the men playing the earlier game on weekday nights for the first half of the season. Live links are provided below for fans who are unable to attend the contests.

The men's team is coming off a dominating 96-53 victory over FDU-Florham on Friday night which improved their record to 12-5 overall and 4-2 in the MAC Freedom.
The Wilkes offense was led by Rob Pecorelli (Huntington, NY/Harborfields), Mark Mullins (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) and Tommy Bowen (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin), all of whom rank inside the conference's top 25 in scoring.
Pecorelli had a game-high 22 points against the Devils to bump his scoring average to 16.9 point per game (T-8th) to go along with 5.6 boards on 41.6% shooting. Mullins' added 14 points and eight rebounds in Friday's win. The junior sits at 15th in conference scoring (15.5 ppg) while being tied for eighth in rebounding (7.1). Bowen scored double-digit points for his 10th straight game and averages 14.1 ppg while ranking sixth in rebounds with 7.5. The senior is efficient from the floor as he sits at seventh in the MAC Freedom with a 56.2% shooting percentage.
Wilkes is second in the MAC Freedom in scoring at 80.9 ppg while allowing 74.4 ppg.
Delaware Valley comes in off two straight conference wins after defeating King's 84-73 on Monday night to improve to 4-2 in the MAC Freedom and 8-9 overall.
The Aggies have four players averaging double-digit points led by Damian Washington's 14.4 ppg (ninth). The sophomore also rips down 6.1 boards (13th) while shooting 43.3% from the floor (16th). Junior Mike Cianciulli is not far behind Washington, averaging 13.6 ppg (13th), thanks in part to shooting 33% (15th) from three-point land. Lybrant Robinson barely trails Cianciulli with 13.5 ppg (14th) while averaging 4.7 rebounds (17th). Senior Alex Matsinye completes the quartet by chipping in 11.9 ppg (18th) and 1.5 steals (T-9th) on the defensive end.
Delaware Valley averages the third fewest ppg in the MAC Freedom (73.3) while allowing 74.6 ppg to opponents.
The Wilkes women's team won their second conference game of the season on Friday over FDU-Florham, 83-78, to improve to 2-4 in the MAC Freedom and 6-10 overall.
Maddie Kelley (Dallas, PA/Dallas) scored a career-high 27 points against the Devils to move to 19th in the conference in scoring at 10.6 ppg. Senior Gab Giordano (Moscow, PA/Holy Cross) recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards and ranks third in the conference with 9.6 rebounds to go along with 3.3 assists (sixth). Fellow Senior Ashley Caster (York, PA/Spring Grove) had 19 points and seven rebounds to increase her scoring average to 9.6 ppg (23rd) while making 50.4 % of her shots which is third best in the MAC Freedom.
Wilkes averages 68.4 ppg while allowing 76.0 ppg.
The Aggie women are coming off a 70-45 drubbing at the hands of King's to drop their record to 8-9 overall (2-4 MAC Freedom).
Delaware Valley has three players inside the top 25 in conference scoring in Ashley Smink, Domanique Moser and Danielle Skedzielews. Smink is sixth in the MAC Freedom with 15.6 ppg while dishing out 2.5 helpers (T-10th). Moser is also inside the top ten in scoring with 14.8 ppg (ninth) in addition to grabbing 7.9 rebounds (sixth) while shooting 30% from beyond the arc (ninth). Skedzielews is also in double-digits with 10.2 points (T-21st). The senior gets 5.8 boards (T-17th) while making 73.7% (sixth) of her free throws.
The Aggies are last in conference scoring at 62.3 ppg while allowing 64.9 ppg.
