Wilkes Men's Cross Country Places Seventh at Hood College Open
FREDERICK, Md. – The Wilkes University men's cross country team competed at the Hood College Open on Saturday, finishing the event in seventh place out of a 15-team field.

Noah Molina (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) was the top Colonels finisher, running a season-best 27:59 in the 8k for a 28th-place finish. Molina's time was the 12th-best mark in the 8k in program history.
John Zick (Middletown, NY/John S. Burke) finished 43rd with a time of 28:39, while Alan Sebastianelli (Archbald, PA/Valley View) came in 50th, finishing in 29:05.
Owen Ebersole (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion Area) (56th-place, 29:22), Kevin Singhel (Athens, PA/Athens Area) (59th, 29:38), Colin Ahrensfield (Ashland, PA/North Schuylkill) (62nd, 29:52), Jason Montemuro (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) (65th, 30:02), Kevin Long (Goshen, NY/Goshen) (69th, 30:16), Kaleb Hanson Richart (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Meyers) (78th, 30:52), Christopher Lombardo (Matawan, NJ/Matawan Regional) (83rd, 32:06), Brandon Whitman (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) (95th, 33:10), Liam Flynn (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) (101st, 33:22), and Dylan Corriere (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) (121st, 35:50) all crossed the finish line for Wilkes.
Ebersole, Ahrensfield, Montemuro, and Hanson Richart all set personal records with their performance on Saturday.
The Colonels return to action on November 2nd when they will return to Hood College for the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship, starting at 11:00 a.m.
